Page Goolrick Page Goolrick is an architect inspired by sailboats. Her firm in New York is known for creating clean and elegant forms with an innovative use of materials.
With the Urban Vessel apartment, we can have a quick view to their approach of design, especially with the opaque sliding partitions.
She explained to the website Dwell :
“Sailing vessels are beautifully designed, flexible, made for performance, but also attractive. They are not ornamental; they do their job and do it well, but they’re beautiful.”
The simplicity and beauty of the Goolrick’s flat is rightly highlighted by the photographs of Dean Kaufman.
